There is a road to it off of Upper Tuskeegee. It is a Forest Service road. You can call them up to see when that road is opened.

I've been to the fire tower (Wachacha Tower) on a 3 day AT hike a few years ago. I remembered a road leading up to it (not just a trail), does anyone in the area know if that road is open to cars/trucks? I would love to drive my wife up to see the view, but I don't think she could take the hike it takes to get up there manually!

Hi.
Are you in Florida, now?

I visited the store there in Fontana Village, and the lady there gave me your name and e-mail address (Which isn't there anymore), because she said that you knew about the Crisp Family from out the in the Smokies. (Sorry, but it was two year's ago and I had lost the info she gave to me, and just now found it.)
I would appreciate it if you do, and let me know.

Thank you so much.

Seems like a pretty cool shop even though I do not own a record player. I have not frequented a record shop of any kind since 1999. It was always nice to discover something and I used to appreciate an album so much more because it cost so much and just that CD got left in the player, with maybe only 4 others at a time. I no longer have my music collection memorized like I used to when it consisted of about 300 albums back in 1999, thus I have a harder time deciding what I want to listen to and ofter revert just to shuffle mode or using a Pandora artist based radio station.

I like the first point you made there, but I am not sure I could reasonably apply that in a contructive way.
